We are a Brisbane-based charity committed to guiding and supporting families in need through practical help and emotional care. Our focus includes providing food and essential items to struggling households, with plans to expand our services as we continue to grow. With a strong belief in community-led care, we aim to grow our reach and create long-term impact across the Brisbane region — supporting those who need it most, right when they need it.

Love in Action is Seeking a Volunteer Treasurer
Are you passionate about giving back to your community and have a knack for numbers?
Love in Action, a local not-for-profit organisation supporting families and individuals in need, is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Treasurer to join our committee.
About the role:
As Treasurer, you will play an important part in helping ensure the financial wellbeing and transparency of our organisation.
Responsibilities may include:
Maintaining accurate financial records
Preparing financial reports for committee meetings
Monitoring income and expenses
Assisting with budgeting and annual reporting requirements
Working closely with our committee to support the ongoing success of our programs and community initiatives
What we’re looking for:
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance or administration (desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Integrity and a commitment to the values of Love in Action
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a volunteer team
